IF I BUY A KIT, WHAT DO I GET?

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER?
Whenever you want.
.....keep in mind: scheduling of pick-up's and re-deliveries are are based on a first-come, first-serve basis. The earlier you order, the more likely you are to get your preferred date & time.
HOW DOES YOUR SERVICE WORK?
To get started, go to your school’s Order page and choose from the list of items you would like us to store for you. We offer a variety of storage from simply storing one box, several boxes and items, or taking advantage of our Campus Kit* storage bundles. If an item you wish to store is not on the list, simply give us a call at 1-877-667-6999 for a quote or fill in the Contact Us form and we will respond back to you promptly.
Summer storage rates are based on one semester’s storage; study abroad storage rates are based on two semesters. Storage items will be picked-up and stored in a safe, secure, climate-controlled warehouse and re-delivered to your new address in the fall. Pick-up and re-delivery dates are posted on our News section and on your school’s Order page prior to your school's move-out and return schedule. Shipped items will be delivered to the address you specify.
Once you have selected all of your storage, simply proceed to checkout and fill in the required information. Your credit card will be charged for all items included in your storage order and just like that your storage order is complete! You will receive your receipt by e-mail and then we take it from there.
Our Campus Crew is dedicated to providing a smooth move-out/return process. Our team will pick-up your belongings during the specified pick-up dates. If during your pick-up, you have additional items that you wish to store and have not already ordered and paid for, no worries, we will be happy to process additional storage items at pick-up.
Please be sure to have all your belongings packed properly (see Packing tips). All items stored with Campus Crate are labeled with one of our Storage Identification Labels. If you ordered a Campus Kit, you will receive the labels prior to pick-up. All other items will be labeled at pick-up. Campus Crate cannot store items without a Campus Crate Identification Label. In the fall during the specified return dates, your belongings will be re-delivered back to you. It’s as simple as that.

*The Campus Kit is your 'all in one' storage solution. There are three Campus Kits to choose from and the price includes the storage of all the boxes in the ordered kit for one semester. Also included are all the necessary materials (identification labels w/ pouches, packing tape, and a pen) needed for a smooth pack-up and move-out process. If you order any of the Campus Kit storage, the boxes and packing material will be delivered to you prior to pick up.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?
In certain cases. Campus Crate charges additional fees only in cases where we incur additional costs. These fees can usually be avoided if you plan ahead of time. The balance on your account is charged to your credit card. Most importantly, make sure you are in your room during your scheduled pick-up and delivery times and that your items are labeled. See our Pricing and Deposits under Terms & Conditions for a full list of the additional fees that can be charged.
Any packed box, storage bin, duffel bag, suitcase or trunk weighing more than 40 lbs. will incur an additional fee of $1.00 per pound.
HOW DO I PACK MY BOXES, PROPERLY?
WHERE DO I GET PACKING MATERIALS AND LABELS?
If you ordered storage for any of the Campus Kit bundles, the packing materials will be delivered to you prior to move-out. We will contact you to schedule a drop-off.
If you ordered the storage of any of our individual items, we will mail you labels and label sleeves.
Campus Crate will NOT accept any unlabeled boxes or items.
WHAT ARE YOUR TERMS & CONDITIONS?
CAN I STORE ITEMS THAT WON'T FIT IN A BOX?
Campus Crate can store any item that you need. We store futons, trunks, plastic bins, furniture, desks, beds, refrigerators, microwaves, chairs...the list goes on. Items such as Plasma/LCD TVs and flat screen monitors should be stored in their original boxes. If you don't have the original box, you can purchase aTelevision Box from us.

DO YOU PICK-UP & RE-DELIVER OFF CAMPUS?
Campus Crate can pick-up and re-deliver to housing off campus. There could be an additional fee so please check with a crew member for more information.
WHAT IF I BRING OUT MORE OR LESS THAN I ORDERED?
No problem, you only pay for the items that you are storing. If during your pick-up you have additional items that you wish to store and have not already ordered and paid for, no worries, we will process additional storage items at that time. If you ordered an individual item (such as a television or plastic storage bin) and decide you no longer need to store it, just let us know and you will receive a refund.
Please note: Kit purchases are final. Unused boxes cannot be refunded.
CAN I PULL MY ITEMS OUT OF STORAGE EARLY?
You can, but there will be an additional charge. There will be a warehouse fee to pull items out of storage and additional redelivery fees. You may choose to pick up your items from the warehouse but you will still incur the warehouse fee to bring items to the loading dock. We require 48 hours notice for access to stored items at our facility.
CAN I CANCEL MY SERVICE?
Yes. Contact Us to submit your cancelation request. See our pricing section for any additional fees that may or may not be assessed to your account for cancellation.
Please note, the cost of the box kit is not refundable.

CAN I STORE A COMPUTER?
Yes. Our storage facility is climate controlled, which is perfectly safe for all your electronic equipment. If you no longer have the boxes, you may use our boxes with plenty of packing materials for extra cushioning.
STORAGE RESTRICTIONS: WHAT CAN'T BE STORED?
Hazardous materials, liquids, jewelry, cash, and valuables cannot be stored with Campus Crate.
WHAT IF EXTENDED STORAGE IS NEEDED?
Campus Crate can meet your long-term storage needs. Whether you are going away for a semester or want to store for a whole year, we can accomodate your storage needs.
We charge our regular full-service storage prices for each semester that the items are stored beyond the summer.
HOW DOES YOUR SHIPPING SERVICE WORK?
WHERE CAN I SHIP TO?
We can ship your packages to anywhere in the continental US.
Due to customs requirements and high air freight prices, we cannot ship to international destinations or to Alaska and Hawaii.
CAN I STORE A CAR?
DO YOU REALLY PICK-UP & RE-DELIVER TO MY ROOM?
Yes, on your scheduled pick-up/re-delivery dates, our Campus Crew will come to your door to pick-up your items. You don't have to lift a thing.

ARE MY ITEMS PROTECTED AGAINST DAMAGE OR LOSS?
Yes. Our prices include $100 worth of valuation per shipped or stored box. We strongly recommend the purchase of additional valuation in cases where the replacement value of your possessions exceeds $100 per box.
